Wow! What difference a few weeks make. While some people predicted the surreal reality that we now are experiencing, a month ago it still seemed so far away and unimaginable. Now we really DO know that stores can run out of toilet paper and paper towels, Clorox …and bananas.
While everyone has been affected by COVID-19, I hope that you and your loved ones are safe and keeping their 6-foot physical distance from anyone that isn’t their immediate family. We ended up bringing my son home from college (a few months early). It’s been great to have the entire family back together again…but my wife and I were starting to enjoy our more than once-a-week date night.
Typically, this time of year, we’re working hard filling orders for t-shirts for baseball, soccer and other outdoor sports teams; working with companies on promotional items for conferences, designing trade show booths – with the requisite brochures, posters, etc. We’re still busy…but the orders are for face shields, KN95 masks, medical gowns, and gloves. The people that need them just aren’t getting them from their regular sources.
Luckily at KGZ we’re reaching out to our global supply chain – calling, texting, emailing – and finding suppliers for our clients – the elder care facilities, home health care groups, and those that use and need these supplies daily, but are having a tough time finding them.
While we would much rather be doing the fun t-shirt orders, at this point there’s a much greater and critical need around the country for any item in any shape or form than can slow the spread of the novel coronavirus. I’m happy that we have built up these relationships with suppliers over the past 20 years. They know us, we know them. The trust is there. And my customers know that my word is my pledge.
So…just sayin’ – if you need safety supplies – hand sanitizer, wipes, masks, shields…whatever – please contact me. I’ll do my very best to make sure you get the equipment you need, at the best price I can find, and get them in your hands as fast as my international network can make it happen.
